National Highways Midlands Regional Stakeholder Survey 2023

Closed 21 Apr 2023

Opened 27 Mar 2023

Overview

At National Highways, it’s our job to plan, design, build, operate and maintain England’s motorways and major A-roads.

In the Midlands, we have a network of over 1800 miles of motorways and A-roads that sits at the centre of England’s transport network. It supports thriving cities, like Birmingham and Leicester, and beautiful rural areas like Shropshire and Lincolnshire.

If you’re heading across the country, north to south, or east to west, you’re likely to travel through our network in the Midlands. Our major roads like the M1 and the M6, connect the Midlands to local roads and with the rest of the UK, and the world through ports and airports.

We're carrying out a Regional Stakeholder Survey as we would like to hear your views on how we work and your experience of engaging with us, so we can continue to improve engagement throughout the Midlands region.

The survey should take approximately five to 10 minutes to complete and will help us understand how you feel about us, what we are good at, what we need to improve, what your priorities are and what we need to consider in the future.

Anyone with an interest or who is impacted by our business can take part. We want to hear from a wide range of people – whether you use our roads or are impacted by them, such as living or working near them.

Your answers will be kept strictly confidential

Nobody outside National Highways will be able to know which answers you gave to our questions. We will not publish individual responses to this survey and contact information will only be retained so that we can contact you, if you grant us permission to do so however data will be used for research purposes only and in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulations.

A full Privacy Policy, setting out your rights including accessing, amending, and deleting data, is available at: https://nationalhighways.co.uk/about-us/privacy-notice/.

This stakeholder survey does not form part of any public consultation exercise and any responses received will be used to help us better understand our stakeholders priorities and allow us to build stronger and better relationships.

If you have any questions relating to this survey, any issues that you would like to bring to our attention or require a copy of the survey sent to you in the post, we ask that you please contact a member of the Regional Stakeholder Team by emailing RIPStakeholder@nationalhighways.co.uk.
