Overview

Consultation extended until Monday 23 April 2018

The new event at Salisbury will be held at St Paul’s Church, Fisherton Street, Salisbury, SP2 7QW, 11.00 to 17.00, Saturday 14 April 2018.

A full list of forthcoming consultation events is available in the list below.

Overview

We are consulting on our proposals to improve the A303 past Stonehenge between Amesbury and Berwick Down.

The scheme is part of the government’s strategy to upgrade the A303/A358 route to a continuous dual carriageway to improve connectivity between the South East and the South West of England.

To access information and documents relating to the previous consultation, please visit the 2017 consultation page.

Why we are consulting

The purpose of this consultation is to seek your views on the scheme proposals. Your feedback will inform our continuing development of the scheme to the point when we are ready to submit our application for planning consent. This public consultation is the latest step in the legal and planning process to apply for a Development Consent Order. For more information about this, see our handy guide to the planning process.

All the latest information about the scheme is available:

  • on the scheme website
  • at public information events, where the scheme proposals will be on display and members of the project team will be available to answer questions (dates shown below)
