A303 Stonehenge: supplementary consultation July 2018

Closed 14 Aug 2018

Opened 17 Jul 2018

Overview

Earlier this year we consulted on our proposals for improving the A303 past Stonehenge, between Amesbury and Berwick Down. We have been using this feedback to further develop our plans. From this we have identified three changes on which we would welcome your views before we submit our application for a development consent order to build the scheme.

These are:

  • to remove the previously proposed link between Byways 11 and 12 in the Stonehenge World Heritage Site
  • to widen the green bridge proposed near the existing Longbarrow roundabout
  • to move the proposed modification of Rollestone crossroads.

We would welcome your views on these three proposed changes before we submit our proposals for development consent.
